The European University of Tirana (UET) is a leading higher education institution and VET provider in Albania, committed to high-quality teaching, research, and vocational training. Established in full compliance with the Bologna Process, UET offers Bachelor\u2019s, Master\u2019s, and Doctorate programs in economy, finance, business, law, social sciences, political sciences, communication, information technology, architecture, engineering, and technical medicine.<\/p>

As a VET provider, UET integrates vocational training and lifelong learning programs that focus on bridging the skills gap between education and labor market needs. The institution works closely with businesses, governmental agencies, and industry leaders to develop competency-based learning pathways that equip students with practical and job-ready skills.<\/p>

UET is an active participant in European-funded projects, including:<\/p>

  • Erasmus+ KA2 Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) \u2013 Participating in over 20 projects as a coordinator and partner.<\/li>
  • Jean Monnet Chair & Centre of Excellence \u2013 Leading EU policy research and education in Albania and the Western Balkans.<\/li>
  • COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) Program \u2013 Supporting international research collaboration.<\/li>
  • Erasmus+ KA1 Credit Mobility \u2013 Facilitating student and staff exchange programs across Europe.<\/li><\/ul>

    UET has established the Labour Market Boards, which consist of highly qualified professionals from government, business, civil society, and academia. These boards provide critical insights into workforce demands, helping UET align study programs and vocational training with market needs while also offering job placement and internship opportunities to students. The university is also a member of major international academic networks, including Next Europe (focused on Southeast Europe research) and UNIMED (Mediterranean Universities Union), which promote cross-border collaboration in education, research, and innovation.<\/p>

    Leads Work Package 5 (Dissemination, Communication, and Sustainability)<\/p>

    • Develops a comprehensive Dissemination and Communication Strategy, ensuring the project\u2019s visibility and engagement with key stakeholders.<\/li>
    • Organizes regional and international dissemination events, promoting cross-sector collaboration.<\/li>
    • Manages project branding, website, and social media presence to maximize outreach.<\/li><\/ul>

      Supports the Development of VET Training Modules (Work Package 3)<\/p>

      • Ensures that the training curricula and digital tools developed align with Albanian and European VET standards.<\/li>
      • Engages VET trainers and industry representatives in curriculum validation.<\/li><\/ul>

        Leads Policy & Sustainability Efforts<\/p>

        • Produces policy recommendations and best practice reports, supporting the integration of digital and green skills in VET education.<\/li><\/ul>
